Editing and General Assistant
Zone 8 Media Ltd is a company that produces a range of content for online entertainment whose target audience are gay and bi-sexual men. The content ranges from the more adult end with the online video membership website EnglishLads.com to the more subtle photography website FitYoungMen.com and the calendar business RippedAndStripped.com
The owner of the business is looking for an assistant to help in various aspects of the business and the key roles include:
1. Video editing - we already employ a video editor and we need extra resource to help with editing of additional video content; about one quarter of the role would be editing.
2. Photography - we are one of the few membership website businesses where photography is still an important part of the mix; one of the photography tasks would involve selecting the photos for the members area published sets; about one quarter of the role would be involved.
3. Model recruitment - helping with the general model recruitment effort, from placing of adverts to handling initial enquiries and being part of the team that scouts models; about one quarter of the role.
4. Promotional and PR - generating press releases and creating and distributing regular promotional content.
We are looking for someone with experience of editing, no need for experience in adult sector, able to work with Adobe Premier Pro and Photoshop and ideally with some photography experience. Pay is dependent on experience, likely around £32k per annum, on a freelance basis and the role would be based with our team in Islington, London.
