The morning of Saturday 7th August started as a big adventure as myself (Zack Elliot) and three other EnglishLads models Justin, Bailey and Andy embarked upon our journey from London to Brighton; we arrived and came across a pub ideal for us to get changed, have a quick refreshment and get our logo's stencilled on.

The bar staff were quite delighted to have 4 semi naked hunks in their pub as the hoards of people came off the train and quickly filled the place to watch the goings on!

We boosted their early morning trade a little! Within the first 5 minutes of being in Brighton the photos began; little did we all realise the demand that was about to take place! As we entered Preston Park we found ourselves with people queuing to have there photos taken, Andy and Bailey were blown away with the response, including the local police team wanting a cheeky snap!

The day just got better and better as the sun shone and the park filled with more and more people after what felt like our 10,000th picture request and our second box of flyers we decided it was probably time to head back to London not without stopping off to see our favourite bar staff for a quick snack!

So four very tired models boarded the train all eager to have a little sleep, but that was not to be as more fans on the train wanted a quick last minute snap. The lads worked really hard and I have to say I expected them all to run home for bed, to my shock when we arrived back in London the guys clearly weren’t ready to go home and had grown quite fond of walking around with their tops off. At this point I thought there is only one thing we can do; so we descended upon Soho for round two of pictures, drinks and fun. Great day had by all and I know that all of us can't wait for the next pride event; Andy has already called me asking when the next one is!

So maybe Cardiff needs to watch out on the 4th of September because EnglishLads might be crossing the border!

When I started Englishlads at the end of 2003 the website was just about photo sets of models. Fairly quickly after launch people had asked for us to do videos of the models and so the initial idea back in early 2004 was to start putting a video camera on a tripod and filming the photo shoot. This was a voyeuristic look into what I do, not to every ones’ taste but many people seemed to like it. Though much of the feedback from our members requested us to also film our models as well as do photo shoots. So by about mid 2004 we started doing separate photo shoots and videos and along this time we stopped filming the photo shoots.

Quite recently it occurred to me it might be worth returning back to filming the photo shoots to add as bonus content to those who like a bit more of a “behind the scenes” feel on their favourite models. I think the main reason I haven’t contemplated this before was the extra work load of filming, editing and writing about another update each week! But anyway I am going to give it a go and see if we can start to add these on a regular weekly basis.

On the first one with Jay Hall we have added a few photos into the video so you can see the photo I was shooting about the same time in the video!

There are a few photos below of this unique place we go to during the summer so we can take some promotion photos and occasionally we do an actual shoot on a private part of the beach!

Back in early June I took four lads to Spain for some outdoor shoots. One of the shoots we did was with Callum; I wanted that ideal shot of him with a little bit of water lapping around and him dripping in the sunshine. The sea and sky were really striking that day and there was just a gentle breeze, but there was quite a swell, not just in Callum’s shorts, but the sea was really quite rough. This is ideal for the shot I wanted as every few minutes a bigger wave came along and through up some water. Though little did I know there was a whopper on its way and as I took some more shots of Callum I could see this wave come up on him and tower over him… the next minute he is knocked off his feet and swept out to sea about 20 meters, all in the space of seconds!
As all this happened the wave hit me and I was also covered from head to toe! So after this dousing we retreated to the beach.
This time we did some naked shots, luckily we were on a naturist beach so no one took too much notice, but about 30 meters away was a group of four lads who were taking a keen interest in watching Callum and as we retreated to a private part of the cliffs to finish the photos I noticed three of the lads all had a lot of blood flowing and were not afraid of showing it off! Poor Callum didn’t know where to look, though this str8 lad doesn’t seem to mind entertaining!

After all this we went back the next day and did some shots with all four lads; the sea was just as rough and the guys seemed to love being thrown around in the waves.
